Sur le fil

In the Drawing Lab, a white cube seems to be waiting for a work to come. At once a pedestal and a rough block, what could be going on? For the Non-Effective Drawing exhibition, artist Emmanuel Béranger has devised a new protocol involving his whole body. Sur le fil is a physical test that the artist will carry out with the strength of his arms. Like a gymnast, he swaps white magnesia for grey graphite powder to mark the support for the action to come.
