Tiffany Bouelle
With Caran d'Ache
" We have no memory of our lives before the age of four. This sentence, the starting point of the exhibition, sounds like an invitation to rediscover snippets of a buried past. Tiffany Bouelle translates these fragments of childhood, real or imagined, into drawings and paintings using Luminance 6901 colored pencils, inks, acrylics or Neocolor II Aquarelle wax pastels by Caran d'Ache.
In her works, the artist explores fragments of simple happiness, fleeting and elusive, which we rediscover as adults, as marvelous spectators of this fantastic theater where the generation shaping tomorrow's society blossoms.
Tiffany Bouelle started drawing at the age of four. She would doodle on paper placemats in restaurants, on abandoned post-it notes, or even on the Sunday paper. After that, she continued to draw regularly at weekends, without any particular ambition, simply for the pleasure of creating worlds on a piece of paper, worlds that often ended up in the garbage can.
" For me, the pencil is a regressive medium. It's not intimidating, it invites experimentation and lets you develop your ideas with lightness and spontaneity. It's a tool I enjoyed using for twenty-five years before turning to painting, but it's still the faithful companion of my earliest sketches. "Tiffany Bouelle

Tiffany Bouelle
Born in 1999, lives and works in Paris
At the age of 25, Tiffany Bouelle, a passionate painter and performance artist committed to defending women's voices, attracted the attention of LVMH for an artistic collaboration while publicly presenting her personal drawings for the first time. Her work has since been represented in prestigious French institutions such as the Monnaie de Paris, JAD and the Musée des Arts et Métiers, as well as at the Asia Now contemporary art fair in 2019-2020 and at BAD Bordeaux in 2023.
Trained in traditional calligraphy by her Japanese grandfather, Tiffany has embraced this family heritage, spending every summer in the Land of the Rising Sun since the age of seven. It wasn't until 2020, during the second confinement, that she fully exploited this training, using European mediums to create her first minimalist series entitled La femme objet. A passionate traveler and adventurer, her artistic journey took a botanical turn, unveiling a new color palette in 2022 with her Seinaru Mori / La forêt sacrée du post-partum series, exhibited at Galerie Porte B in Paris.
In 2024, Bouelle will present for the first time figurative works inspired by visions, folk tales and an enchanted universe blending animals, objects and creatures-marking a new direction revisited through the references of her childhood. She is currently working on a series exploring the philosophy of Japanese floral art chabana for an exhibition scheduled to take place in Kyoto in autumn 2024.
Tiffany's work has been exhibited internationally, with shows in Paris, Geneva, London, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Kyoto. His mythical, visionary art has come to life through collaborations in fashion and luxury hotels. His Palette series will be presented in Longchamp boutiques worldwide from June 2024.
