The Drawing Lab, the Drawing Society's space for experimentation and exhibitions of contemporary drawing, is looking for an artist/curator duo for an exhibition in the fall of 2025 on the theme: " Drawing in motion(s) ".

This initiative aims to question contemporary drawing in all its forms, by highlighting the concept of movement, whether danced, written, or performed. Drawing is not only a form of artistic expression, it becomes a language, a means of engaging the mind, the body and a tool of communication. How can movement inspire drawing, and vice versa?

The Artistic Committee

In 2023, the selection committee was made up of:

Sébastien Laudenbach, animation director, screenwriter, producer and illustrator;

Matthieu Lelièvre, head of the mac Lyon collection and curator;

Christine Phal, President of Drawing Now Art Fair and founder of the Drawing Lab;

Philippe Piguet, art critic and independent curator;

Pascale Pronnier, Head of Artistic Programming at Le Fresnoy;

Barbara Soyer, Coordinator of the Extra-Large Drawing Chair at the Beaux-Arts de Paris (2021-2023), founder of The Drawer.
